We had just two tips yesterday and we went 1-1.
Our win was the tip of the Sharks to beat the Kings and they did winning 4-3 in OT. The Sharks scored the first 3 goals of the game and the Kings answered with 3 of their own. Patty Marleau won it for the Sharks in OT. The Kings are now 1-11-0 when they allow the first goal of the game.
The lose was our tip of the Islanders to beat the Ducks. The team responded to being called out by team captain Ryan Getzlaf, who scored and added an assist, and beat the Isles 3-0. The win snapped the Isles point streak at 17 games. The Islanders outshot the Ducks 16-5 in the 1st but Gibson was ready and picked up his first shutout of the season.
The Penguins beat the Flames 3-2 in OT and Alex Galchenyuk scored his first as a member of the Pens. The Wild vs Rangers game was a good one. It was a homecoming for the Wilds Mats Zuccarello who played as a Ranger for 9 years and the Rangers fans cheered “Zoook!” When he was on the ice. Big game for Henrik Lundqvist who picked up the win and now he sits in 5th place overall in wins over his career.
For the poll question we asked which game would be the highest scoring of the night. With 30% of the vote the Sabres vs Lightning was the choice and that game and the Sharks vs Kings game were tied with 7 to lead the night.
A slower night tonight for us with only 3 games.
Bruins vs Canadiens Betting Tips:
This is one of the best rivalries in the league and all of sports. It’s one where no matter how each team is doing at that point they usually both show up and have a good game.
The Habs have lost 4 straight and over this losing skid they have been leaking goals allowing 6, 2, 5 and 4. But they have beat the Bruins twice in a row.
The Bruins will be without Patrice Bergeron for this game so others will need to step up to help make up for the loss of the two way beast.
These teams are both in the top 10 in GPG so I’m going to go with the Over in this game.
