There was a bunch of games last night. I had only the 1 tip. Went with the Devils to win in regulation against the Predators and they did 5-2. Hischier scored the natural hat trick in the 2nd period.
Glad I avoided the Knights vs Flyers game as I said I liked Knights but had to be in regulation and this one had the Knights winning 5-4 in a shootout.
Canes ended their skid and snapped Stars win streak when they won 6-4. Caps got back in the win column when the beat the slumping Panthers 4-1. Hagel had 5 assists and the Lightning pounded the Avs 8-2 and the Sharks beat the Kings 7-2 with Celebrini scoring twice and adding a helper.
Only two games today and I’m ok with that.
Canucks vs Bruins
The Canucks have had a decent season going 10-6-3. They are 6-4 in last 10 and are on the road where they have been great going 7-1-0 away from Vancouver.
The Bruins are 2-0 under new coach Sacco so they are riding the momentum of that at the moment. They are at home here where they’ve gone 6-4-2.
Even looking at the advanced data this is a close game. The corsi numbers are basically tied as are shots for and against. The Bruins aren’t scoring as much as expected and the Canucks are scoring more than they should be.
Canucks away record has me thinking that they may have a shot here but the Bruins are riding the new coach wave so I’m just going to avoid this game.
Utah vs Canadiens
Nothing here.
Both teams are 3-6-1 in last 10. Utah hasn’t been great on the road going 4-6-2 and the Canadiens haven’t had much home success going 5-5-1.
With two teams who are struggling it’s tough to try and find a winner.
