Well a tough night with the tips as we went 1-1.
We won with our tip of the Islanders -1.5 against the Sens. Ottawa scored first but from there it was all Isles. This was the 10th straight win for the Islanders which is the 2nd longest in franchise history. They had a 15 game win streak back in 1982. This was the Isles first game in Brooklyn this season.
We went with over 6.5 in the Kings vs Maple Leafs game but this stayed under when the Leafs won 3-1. This game was tied at 1-1 after the 2nd period but the Leafs scored twice, 30 seconds apart, in the 3rd for the win.
The Sharks beat the Blackhawks 4-2 to snap their losing streak at 5 games. The Canadiens beat the Bruins 5-4 to end the Bruins 6 game win streak.
For the poll question yesterday we asked who would score more goals? Home teams or away teams? The Away teams scored 23 goals and the Home teams scored 33 which was also the choice in the poll with 77% of the vote.
Well after a busy night we are back to a slow one with only 2 games. Tough night to pick winners.
The Rangers should win against the Red Wings who are on a 3 game skid but who knows which Rangers team shows up. The Oilers should win but its the defending Champs and who knows. Discuss in the comments and see if you can find something you like.
