Here we go, the season is finally starting. And we are going to get a 82 game season.
Every team made changes, some big, some small, and how will it affect each team in the standings.
Can the Lightning win again and make it a three peat? How much success will the Seattle Kraken have in their first year? How much closer can Ovechkin get to Gretzky in the goal department?
So many questions and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
Day 1 has only 2 games. It’s a good way to ease us back into NHL hockey.
Penguins vs Lightning Betting Tips:
We couldn’t ask for a better game to open up the season. So much star power on each team although the Pens won’t have a couple of the leagues best to start the season.
The Penguins come into this game missing Crosby, Malkin and Guentzel. Guentzel may be ready for the game as he is dealing with some Covid thing, not sure if you have heard about this Covid stuff, he is asymptomatic and if cleared to play he will help the Pens big time with their two big stars out.
The Lightning have won the last 2 Cups so will they have a hangover heading into the season?
With Crosby and Malkin out I like the Lightning’s chances in this game.

Kraken vs Golden Knights Betting Tips:
Well it’s a battle of expansion teams here.
The Knights have had so much success that they have set the bar really high for the Kraken. And if the Kraken don’t have the success that the Knights had in their first season we really can’t hold that against them as what the Knights did and have done is truly incredible.
The Knights are heavy favorites in this game. So I’ll avoid picking a winner and instead I’ll go with the Over. In their first NHL game the Kraken will want to make a statement and the Knights will want to show them how it’s done.
The Kraken are expected to bring the defense this season, but I expect it will take time for them to gel and it’s a tough opening game. Like the value here.

Hello from Germany, nice to have you back. Follow you since 2018 and I am excited about your betting season this year. Covid’s not over, but with possible sold-out arenas and a full 82 game schedule it seems to get normal. Let’s see, what it will bring to us.
Starting the season slowly I decided to go with a 4 game acca including both games today and Caps and Leafs tomorrow to have +5,5 goals.
Furthermore I am with +1,5 goals in 1st period in TBLvsPIT and with Carter to score at least one goal for the Pens.

Hello everyone! Really looking forward to this season, some great hockey, great discussions and probably a lot less parity in the league than in many previous recent seasons. Let’s hope that spells “winning bets!”
Tonight: I agree with Tampa Bay to WIN this game. Not sure if I’d leap for the puckline, but the moneyline should be a keeper. I’m off the Knights/Kraken game but WOW, do I want to watch that to see what’s going on with those two teams. I’m expecting the Kraken to quickly challenge for a playoff position.

Like Bolts reg and -1 as Pens are to relient on Crosby to get near Lightning.

Pens team total under 3.5 parlayed with Seattle team total under 2.5 for -154 odds. Pens are depleted so I’m not sure where the scoring will come from as guys try to gel and figure out what their roles will be. Same with a new team of players figuring out the roles and chemistry in the Kraken. Plus both teams on the road with fans back. Lehner should be motivated to make a statement as the official number one with fleury no longer there. The kraken have no one on their team that scored more than 17 goals. Donskoi will not play. Eberle and wennberg will play together on the first line leaving the other three lines short of offense with not much help from the defensemen expected offensively either. Vegas at home gives them the benefit of last line change to pair their top defense against the krakens top line. The pens are without Crosby Malkin and Guentzel. This should force Carter to play at center as opposed to wing where I believe he’s been predominantly utilized. Tampa can control possession and dictate the tempo of this game leaving pens with few opportunities to cash in. Can’t see the pens scoring 4 can’t see Kraken scoring 3 and I’m getting it at a better price then betting either of the heavy favorites to win outright. To put it better if the pens score four they should win if I believed the kraken could score 3 I would happily take them at the +220 money line or even better +350 in regulation. Just don’t see it.
So happy to get another season started. Let’s get it boys. I did a 60 min regulation parlay with the bolts and knights.
