It’s a busy night of NHL action with 14 games going on over the course of 3.5 hours start times.
Really crazy how they compress so many games into one night like that. I get it and all but just crazy when you go from that to 3 games on Sunday and 1 on Monday.
Doesn’t make it fun to try and bet either. With this many games it’s usually a case of eliminating a game from betting if nothing jumps out immediately, then trying to focus on the others.
Penguins vs Panthers Betting Tips:
We’re going to back these two to buck their trend of going under 5.5 goals(1 in the last 6 have went over) and are going to back Over 5.5 Goals.
Panthers offense have managed to score 13 goals in just 3 matches while conceding a whole bunch as well. Penguins are a bit harder to call but their defense really hasn’t shown anything much lately while other than the bizarro world Hawks game, their offense is going strong.
With two confident offenses, we’re hoping this one sees a lot of goals.

Leafs vs Canadiens Betting Tips:
You know as soon as the Leafs/Devils game was over with I was looking at the Leafs schedule and saw that it was the Habs next. Right away I decided “Nope, not going to tip over in that game”. Just had a bad feeling about it.
But the line opened today and it’s over 5.5 goals. That’s a nice line as I was expecting 6. We’ve got two teams who are top 5 for average shots per game. The Leafs want to break a brutal run in Montreal where they haven’t won in 14 games. The Habs need to break this losing streak.
This has all the makings to be a great game. Leafs so far seem they can score at will against anyone and we’ll be hoping that continues tonight. We’ve seen Price step up before at the Bell Centre and win a game for the Habs practically on his own – let’s hope that doesn’t happen tonight.

Avalanche vs Stars Betting Tips:
The odds dictate a bet on the Avs here. I’m surprised at the odds and fully expect this bet to fall flat on my face, but at a price like this I just can’t help but take it.
Varlamov has been on fire, and the Stars offense is stuttering. It’s like the Hitchcock special – a billion shots with like 5 goals. McKinnon is expected to suit up.
This is a bet mainly for value at this price – if it was say 2.30 or below I’d be staying the hell away for sure. We don’t do unit betting here to keep it simple but if you bet units it’s probably a half unit play. Stars are overall the better team but I love the confidence the Avs have – especially with Varlamov in net. Bit concerned about a back to back versus the rested Stars but the odds make it a play for me.
We don’t include value bets in our stats win or lose as generally we don’t believe they’ll win this time but more believe they’ll win long term enough for profit.

Today it wasn’t so successful. Few games were a bit unlucky. I hope next day we will be more lucky
Yes, sometimes it goes like that. Edmonton is doing things which is not expected. They have very good team that we saw it already from the last year but things are not really going so good but it will change I believe. 15-20 games before it is really hard to say who is good or bad.

Leafs defense is not good yes but I cannot really see someone in Montreal who will take it as benefit and score some. Cannot really trust in Montreal this year. Their finance is also not doing good with their decisions. Do not even have hope to see them in play offs this year.
