Hopefully all Canadians had a great Thanksgiving.
Only three games yesterday.
The Penguins beat the Jets 7-2. For the Penguins it was their 3rd win a row. The game was tied 1-1 after the 1st but the Penguins scored 3 goals in each of the final 2 periods to cruise to the victory.
The Golden Knights beat the Kings 5-2 and three of the Knights goals came on the power play.
The final game of the day was the Flames vs the Sharks. The Sharks won 3-1. After an 0-3 start to the season the Sharks have now won 2 straight.
Our poll yesterday was which game will be the highest scoring of the night. With 41% of the vote our readers choose the Penguins vs Jets game and that was the correct answer as that game hit 9 goals where the Knights game hit 7 and the Sharks hit 3.
A busy Monday for us with 7 games. 4 of them start at 1:00pm et, 1 starts at 3:00, 1 starts at 5:00 and the final game starts at 8:00pm. So its a nice day full of action.
Stars vs Sabres Betting Tips:
After the start to the season both teams have had I’m surprised by the odds.
The Stars have opened the season going 1-4-1. The Sabres have gone 4-0-1. The Sabres are at home in this one where they are 3-0.
The Sabres can’t seem to get any respect. I get it that they have been a bad team for years but this year seems different. Maybe all of thier strong play will turn and they will revert back to the shitty team they have been in years past. But I feel like I have to back them until they prove otherwise.

Oilers vs Hawks Betting Tips:
Another game where the odds dont make sense.
The Oilers are off to an amazing start going 5-0 for the first time since 1985-86 when they had a stacked team with Gretzky, Messier, Kurri, Coffey and others.
The Hawks are 0-2-1 to start the season. Each game has been close losing by a single goal in each but the Hawks haven’t shown that they are into the swing of things yet.
Thanks to the odds for this I have to take the Oilers. And it pains me to bet against my Hawks but I have to.
