We had 2 tips yesterday and we went 1-1 for a profit.
Our win was the tip of the Sabres to beat the Stars. They won 4-0. The Sabres moved to 5-0-1 on the year, the Stars are now 1-5-1. All of the moves the Stars made have, to this points, been a waste.
Our loss was the Oilers to beat the Blackhawks but it was the Hawks winning 3-1. This was the Hawks first win of the season and for the Oilers it was their first loss. James Neal scored again for the Oilers in the loss and already has more goal this season than he did all of last season.
The Wild beat the Sens 2-0 for their first win of the season. The Devils had a 3 goal lead only to blow it and lose to the Panthers 6-4 and move to 0-4-2 this season.
Yesterday for our poll question I asked which sport, besides, hockey do you watch most? Well I somehow forgot to add Soccer. I blame it on being hungover from the night before but thats no excuse. For todays poll I’ll include it to see how the numbers change. Football won with 71% of the vote but I’m curious to see how that will change and if voters were choosing it as I didn’t call it “American Football”
A decent Tuesday with 7 games.
Wild vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:
The Wild played last night and picked up their first win of the season. Sure it was against the Sens but a win is a win and the Wild needed that.
The Leafs come into this game after winning their last game 5-2 against the Red Wings. The Leafs haven’t been great in Toronto this year winning only once in 4 games there. But with a tired Minnesota squad in town the Leafs should use this game to get back on track in their own barn.
The Wild will have confidence from yesterday’s win but it will be a huge test for them tonight.
Leafs are favored here so going to take them to win in regulation. Was going to take them -1.5 but am more comfortable going the regualtion route.
