Only the one game last night the Sharks vs the Rangers, and the Rangers came away with the 4-0 win to stop their losing streak at 3 games.  First loss on the year for Sharks goalie Martin Jones.  I was leaning towards the Sharks to win mainly because Jones was in net but couldn’t make the tip and in the end it worked out for us.

A much better night of action tonight with 7 games taking place.  So let’s keep our winning streak going with the NHL Betting Tips for Tuesday, October 20th

Islanders vs Blue Jackets Betting Tips:

Columbus is now 0-6 which is their worst start to a season in franchise history.  If they take the loss tonight then they are only the 6th team in NHL history to lose its first 7 games of the year.

All they need is their first win so they can get back to focusing on fixing their problems and turn this around.  It’ll be tough tonight with the Isles in town and they’re riding a 3 game win streak into this.  7 of the Jackets next 8 games are on the road so they need to take advantage of home ice.

Stars vs Flyers Betting Tips:

This should be a good game with both teams riding winning streaks, the Stars 3 games and the Flyers 2.  The Flyers are also on a 2 game shutout streak.

The Stars are leading the league in goals per game with 3.80 and they’ll snap Neuvirth’s shutout streak tonight if he gets the start. The Flyers haven’t played since the 14th so they’ll be fresh and ready to go tonight.   I like this game to be  a high scoring one

Capitals vs Flames Betting Tips:

Backstrom made his season debut for the Caps on Saturday against the Hurricanes scoring a goal and adding two assists in the teams 4-1 win.

Ovechkin needs one point to reach 900 for his career and is only 6 goals away from 483 to pass the legend Sergei Fedorov for most goals ever by a Russian born player.

The Flames are still winless at home going 0-3. They have only scored 10 goals all year  and average only 26 shots a game which puts them in 26th place.

Backstrom back and showing no rust and Ovechkin on the verge of 900 points the Caps should take their game with ease.

Capitals win for 1.71 at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Daily Prop Bet

The Jackets are in need of the win badly.  So I think they go all out in this one.

Brandon Saad has 3 goals, tied for the team lead, and an assist so far this year and they’ll need him to continue to produce for them to have any success.

I admire your courage to bet on Columbus. Hope they come through for you and if they don’t, I can’t see them beating the Wild on Thursday. I like the Caps tonight too. With Backstrom back and the possibility of losing Reinhart tonight is another bonus for the Caps. Good luck tonight!

I can’t find that Saad to score a point bet on bet365. They donät have any other goalscorer bets. You have any idea why?

Sorry JP that’s our bad. We use geo-targeting for the links – so Canada sees Sports Interaction for example. We had put Bet365 as a quick placeholder pre-season and completely forgot about it.

888 would be the place for that http://www.betnhl.ca/go/888-sports.php we’ll get that updated right now.
