A rough night last night for us and the tips. It’s a long season and these nights happen.
We had over 5 in the Flyers vs Canadiens game and the Habs won 3-1. The Flyers offense disappeared for this game. Radulov has been great so far for Montreal. He was part of all 3 goals for them scoring a goal and adding 2 assists. The Canadiens are the only team left without a loss in regulation.
The other game of the night was the Flames vs the Blackhawks and we went with the Hawks in regulation. The Flames came away with the 3-2 shootout win thanks to a goal in the 7th round by former Hawk Kris Versteeg.
A much better night of NHL action for us with 11 games tonight compared to the 2 last night. Let’s have a winning night with the NHL Betting Tips for Tuesday, October 25th.
Wild vs Bruins Betting Tips:
The Wild have lost their last 2 games after winning the 3 before that. The Bruins have had a decent start to the year but have some goalies problems to deal with.
With the Bruins starter Rask likely to sit out due to general soreness and back up Khudobin out with an injury, Malcolm Subban may get the start in this one for Boston. In his only NHL action 2 years ago, Subban allowed 3 goals on 6 shots.
If Rask was 100% I’d be taking the Bruins but the Wild are the play for this game.

Lightning vs Leafs Betting Tips:
These teams have started the season with records we expected.
The Lightning are off to a 4-1 start and will be looking to start another win streak in this one. This will be the first game in Toronto for Stamkos who decided to stay in Tampa instead of signing in Toronto in the offseason. I think he made the right choice.
The Leafs are 1-1-3. The have had good starts to their games but can’t hold the lead. In each of the games played so far this season the Leafs were leading after 2 periods. As the season goes on they’ll learn how to hold a lead but they’re a young team and these bumps are expected.
I like the Lightnings chances in this one but I expect there to be goals in this game and am more confident in that. The Lightning are averaging 3.20 gpg whole the Leafs 3.60.

Blue Jackets vs Kings Betting Tips:
Both teams come into this game on 2 game win streaks.
After losing their first 2 games the Jackets have bounced back to win their last 2. Those wins came against 2 strong teams in the Blackhawks and the Stars.
The Kings are having some goalies issues. Quick is expected to miss up to 3 months and his replacement, Jeff Zatkoff, is out with a groin injury. The Kings will be going with Peter Budaj again in this one.
With the goalie issues they’re facing the Jackets have a good shot at winning this game. And when you see the odds it’s an easy decision.

Almost everybody think some nights a go Predators will lose with Penguins. Result was?
From that reason i avoid Kings-Blue Jackets.
But still i think Hartnell will score.:))
Actually the Preds/Pens one isn’t true. While there was a couple of people on the comments here that liked the Pens, the public betting was only a 55/45 split in favour of the Pens which is a fairly standard split.
A better example would be last nights game with the Flames/Hawks. Less than 20% of the money was in the Flames last night.
That’s the beauty of hockey though any team can beat the other on any given night.

It’s not that people think the Jackets will win(at least in our case) but that the line represents a lot of value. Based on the way the Kings have been playing we feel this is more of a 50/50 matchup. We could easily see a slight lean towards the Kings but not at what the odds represent.
Definitely think the Blue Jackets are a live dog tonight. May even take a shot in regulation at 3.10. I also like the Wings tonight. Canes are on their 6th road game (of a 6 gm road trip) to start the season and the Wings have played well lately.

Maybe Flyers vs Sabres Over 5.5!?

Don’t hate it. Price did a great job at stopping the Flyers last night and we were on that Over 5.5 due to the Flyers offense. Sabres concede fairly easy and could see them come out to play tonight after a nice little break. We just weren’t feeling it though. Hard to count on the Sabres offense at this stage and with a lot of questions over it we stayed away
Sports books make teams under dogs on purpose at time. Public favors to bet on favored teams. They know this, bet against the public when you know it’s a decent bet.
I like Devils, leafs, wings, and blues.
Blues haven’t played for over 3 days and flames barely won last night and traveled within same night. Coyotes going on 5 game road trip and Devils win at home.
