It was a winning night in the NHL for the tips and a fun night overall, with a lot of high scoring games.
Big props to the Hurricanes – yesterday I said if it went to a shootout I’d put faith in the Leafs. However the Canes offense stepped up big with 6 goals from 5 different players as they beat the Leafs 6-3.
It was yet another loss for the Canadiens as a tired Kings team thumped them 4-0 at the Bell Centre. What a mess Montreal is right now.
The Panthers blew the Ducks away last night. The Canucks also pulled off a big surprise by beating the Capitals 6-2. The Caps are now 4-5-1 which feels like bizarro world. If this continues then get your bets on them to win the cup now!
Tonight sees the greatest team to ever hit the NHL, the Golden Knights, take on the Avalanche in the early game which kicks off at 6pm EST. The Sens have a tricky tie in New Jersey and the Stars hope to pick up a win in the 2nd half of their Alberta back to back.
Devils vs Senators Betting Tips:
The Devils have had a week since their last game. I wonder if that will affect them like last season when a week off affected a ton of teams. Has to suck to have that momentum then lose to the Sharks and have that one sitting there staring at you for a week.
Other than the Sharks game their offense has been solid but they leaked goals like crazy. They’re going up against the Sens who also have the same thing going – scoring a ton of goals but letting them in too.
Ottawa in their 3 road games this season have been surprisingly tight defensively. The injuries to Turris and Ryan are a concern but that didn’t seem to stop them against the Flyers. Devils are without Palmieri most likely which sucks.
However both teams seem to have enough goals going around. We’re going to go with Over 5.5 Goals tonight.
Canada: 1.83 Odds at Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv.
USA: -125 Odds at Bovada.
Everyone Else: 1.83 Odds at Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv.
That’s it for tonight. Was close to pulling the trigger on Stars to win but Lehtonen in net is concerning – they have no confidence in him this season it seems. Pity as everything else looks good for the Stars there. I think the Avs are good value against the Knights but can’t bet against this Knights team.

”Sure” bets for tonight?
There is no sure bets in NHL.
I wrote with ”
Blues ML @ 1.95 or
Knights @ 2.20 REG is good
Combo?
Combos reduce your chance of winning
By 50% so it’s your choice :p
Canes played yesterday so they should be a bit tired today so blue can win this easily. Knights is my favorite one tonight I like how they play and they just beat the Hawks so they should be motivated tonight
Your welcome mate 2/2
i’m sorry but i’m not expert of hockey… what means WHL (4-6, -2.03) and AHL (0-1, -1u) ???
thanks
4 wins, 6 loses, -2.03 units
Those are other leagues and their records. WHL is the Western Hockey League, AHL is the American Hockey League. These are developmental leagues for the NHL and I use a mathematical betting system to provide tips for them too.
Cbj and Knights!
Today>
1) Agree Ottawa OVER looks great.
2) St. Louis to WIN. St. Louis is in a travel situation where they’re well rested. Columbus on a back-to-back and goals/shots for/against favor St. Louis today.
3) Columbus to WIN. Rested, strategically important game this week for Columbus, looking ahead. Winnipeg is B2Back, on the road and they lost to Columbus 6-2 on October 18.
4) Columbus OVER. These two teams have a lot of OVERs together and recently on their own.
(After yesterday, I have three teams on my “generally don’t bet on their
games; they’re too inconsistent” list: Edmonton, Pittsburgh and now
Toronto.)
I dont think Pittsburgh inconsistent…4 losses…3 for Niemi! Murray is 7-0-1.
STL VS CAR- over 5.5
STL- ML
OTT VS NJ – over 5.5
GLTA!

Knights REG @ 2.20
Everyone says knights win tonight so i am afraid to bet it
Hawks reg
Flames reg
I’m not sold on Knights either… this is one of those games where they could come down off a high, and Avs will be motivated against the top NHL team and Varly can shut down any team. You know that game is coming… is it tonight?
It started already
Yes, and I was horribly wrong
Both plays are based on the back up goalies that start tonight Lehtonen for Stars and Mason for Jets although I think he was signed to be the Jets starter.
