There was only the one game on yesterday, the Canadiens vs the Rangers, and it was won by the Rangers 2-0. This was the Rangers first win of the young season.
A much better night of NHL action with 7 games. Some of the games start at 1:00 pm ET so I’ll have to get these out quick so people can places their bets.
I wanted to go with the Over in the Hawks vs Leafs game but it is 6.5 which is just too high for me. Both teams are 2-0 and both have scored 15 times over 2 games but again the 6.5 scared me off.
Capitals vs Lightning Betting Tips:
The Caps have scored 11 goals in their first two games, Ovechkin himself has scored 7 times. With the way Ovechkin is playing it’s really hard to bet against the Caps right now.
The Lightning have scored 9 times over their first two games where they’re 1-1.
I like the Caps to win but I’m more comfortable tipping this game to go over. The Lightning have given up 8 goals in the first two games. So while they’re scoring the just can’t stop the opposing team from doing the same thing.

Jets vs Oilers Betting Tips:
The Oilers looked amazing in their first game where they beat the Flames 3-0 thanks to McDavid and his hat trick. In their second game they didn’t have as much luck when they lost 3-2 to the Canucks.
Winnipeg is still looking for their first win of the year. The have been getting scored on a lot. In game one they lost 7-2 to the Leafs and in game two they lost 6-3 to the Flames.
I expect the Oilers to bounce back from their last game and pick up the win in this one.

A lot of injuries on the ducks side, despite their success against the flames at home I’d be nervous of this.
It seems too up in the air for me as far as knowing who’s playing or not. Jagr most likely won’t be, but Anaheim has lots of injured players and there are rumors some will be back tonight, but who and what condition are they in?
