It’s Friday, May 12th and the 2017 Western Conference Final begins tonight with the Nashville Predators taking on the Anaheim Ducks.
The Ducks have home advantage in this series.
The Predators got here after sweeping the Blackhawks 4-0 then beating the Blues 4-2. They didn’t have home advantage in either series and they didn’t need it – beating the Blackhawks twice on the road and the Blues once with two very close games otherwise.
The Ducks got here by eliminating the Alberta teams – the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers. They too had a sweep in the first round although it wasn’t as convincing as the Predators one. They then beat a tough Oilers team with some real jekyll and hyde performances – sometimes they looked absolutely fantastic, and other times they were getting beaten 7 freaking 1.
If you’re looking for the best odds for either team to progress, here they are:

Ducks vs Predators Series Betting Tips:
Scott: The Predators have surprised me with how well they have played in these playoffs. They went out and swept the Western Conference leading Blackhawks and then beat the Blues 4-2.
The Ducks swept the Flames in the 1st round but were tested by the Oilers needing 7 games. That Oilers series was some awesome hockey to watch. Kesler is a huge pain in the ass to play against.
The Preds have beaten some really strong teams to get to this point and Rinne has been incredible. The Ducks have experience going for them but the momentum has to be on the Preds side. I think both the Hawks and Blues are better teams than the Ducks so the Predators should be able to go on to the finals.
Predators in 6
Graeme: I love everything that I’ve seen from the Predators so far. I’ve went from hating them at the end of the regular season to looking forward to watching them and their team performances.
However I’m going to go with the Ducks to win.
I said it back when I wrote my Pacific Division Tips before the season even began – the Ducks brought in Randy Carlyle to help them in the post-season. He’s already taken a big step by breaking the Game 7 hoodoo and getting that win. I’ve got faith in the guy.
The Oilers were also a very tough team. The Ducks showed a lot of ability to come back from that 7-1 thrashing and essentially dominate the Oilers in the final game. The 2nd and 3rd period performances by the Ducks were great.
I’m going to take Ducks in 7.
Canada: Bet the series correct score at Sports Interaction. It’s at “NHL Futures” under “Hockey”.
USA: Bet the series correct score at Bovada. Go to “Hockey” on the sidebar, then use the dropdown in the top menu to choose “NHL Playoffs Series Prices”.
Everyone Else: Bet the series correct score at Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv or BetOnline.. At B365 it’s under “Hockey” and then right at the very bottom – NHL Futures 2016/2017. Pinnacle has it under “Specials”, “Hockey”, “NHL”.
I don’t know yet who to pick, but I am expecting to be the goalie to do the biggest difference in this series. With that, Rinne has been much more solid than Gibson, so I’ll probably be with Scott going with Preds. They also have a better defense play and overall are the more consistent team from both. One thing I am sure is this one will be a great series!

where are you finding 1.85?

UNDER? Looking at the two series completed by Anaheim and Nashville so far, it suggests that most games in this series will be UNDER results, which excludes the first desperate game for either team in a series. Anaheim and Nashville had series that trended UNDERs (with the influence of Edmonton pushing for some OVERs). The final games in series are tending to be UNDERS (10 of 12 so far). In line with “game#1” betting, 10 of 12 Game One’s this year have been UNDERs. That may mean zilch, but it’s the facts so far.
Good information, thanks for sharing. Got to go with the stats
Backed the Ducks in regulation.
