As we unanimously predicted yesterday, the Boston Bruins defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets to progress to the next round.
It was a disappointing end to the series for the Jackets who were shut out by Rask and lost 3-0 at home.
Scott correctly called the Avalanche winning as well as they tied the series up and forced a big Game 7 in the Shark Tank. Can’t WAIT.
Speaking of Game 7s that’s what we have on the board tonight. The Dallas Stars take on the St. Louis Blues.
Blues vs Stars Game 7 Betting Tips:
Graeme: Looking through my notes for this one, I’ve said a couple of times – both for the series and for individual games – that the Stars represent value, or are the +EV bet, yet I can’t figure them out and haven’t tipped or bet them.
Tonight I look at it and think they’re an +EV bet and I gotta suggest them here.
They’ve won twice at the Enterprise Center so home/road isn’t an issue. This is a very tight series and in my opinion a complete and utter coinflip.
So while I predicted the Blues to take this series, I think the value is on Stars incl OT/SO – 0.5u.
Scott: The Blues have won only 2 times at home this postseason so I’m not sure the home ice advantage is going to play a factor in this game.
I had originally went with the Stars to win the series in 6 games. It didn’t happen in 6 games but I still like them to move on to the Western Conference Finals.
