A winning night with the Tips last night as we went 2-1. We tipped the Islanders vs Hurricanes game to go over 5.5 and it started out horribly with 0 goals in the first. But in the 2nd period the Canes exploded with 3 goals the Isles 1 and they combined for 3 more in the 3rd for a Canes 4-3 win to win the bet. We also won with our tip of the Avalanche over the Sabres and when the Avs won 4-2.
Our loss came when the Rangers lost to the Devils 4-0. What is wrong with the New York Rangers? They have a good and strong team but they can not win. Even against a huge rival team who was expected to do terrible this year they just couldn’t get it done. Expect some big changes to this team if they can’t turn things around soon.
Tonight we only have three games on but some decent ones and there is lots of value to be had. The Canucks take on the Blue Jackets, The Stars take on the Ducks and The Predators play the Jets. Lets get back to a winning streak with the tips

The players know this and will make sure to have a great year to take one last shot at winning in the playoffs.

Stars vs Ducks: Ducks -1.5
With so many move made in the off season a slow start was expected for the Dallas Stars. They will start to gain so momentum once they become familiar with each other and have the perfect blend of young stars and smart vets to do damage.
But the Ducks are playing amazingly right now. And with the Ducks having last night off and the Stars playing and losing to the Kings, we like the Ducks chances to come out on top in this game.

Predators vs Jets: Predators To Win
A battle of 2 teams who, so far, are in the bottom half of the Western Conference standings. The Preds are a team that has been able to make the playoffs consistently despite never having a true superstar to lead them there. And they do this by a have a complete team approach.
The Jets are struggling this year and this isn’t going to change tonight. They have trouble scoring goals and against a defensively strong team like the Preds will be a hard task.
