Well a bad night for us last night in the betting department. There was some really decent games though. The Maple Leafs continued their strong play picking up the 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild. The Buffalo Sabres picked up their first win of the season winning 4-3 in a shootout over the NY Islanders.

But the story of the night was the cheap shot hit by the spineless puke Max Lapierre on Dan Boyle forcing Boyle to leave the game on a stretcher. If you didn’t see it then have a look below:

I love a big hit, I love a good fight. But I HATE this kind of crap. Lapierre is always playing on the edge, I get that, but at some point someone will get him for all the bullshit he has pulled over the years with the stupid smirk on his face what a weasel. I really dislike his style of play and with all the respect that Dan Boyle commands lets hope he has a full and speedy recovery. But the dipshit Lapierre’s team lost 6-2 and now the Sharks and Avalanche are the only undefeated teams left in the NHL. And sorry to Graeme as he was on the receiving end of an anger filled rant from me last night. I am a Blackhawks fan so naturally I dislike the Canucks and any player that has played there. Plus I am a Dan Boyle fan. If he had laid that hit on Raffi Torres well I wouldn’t be upset at all ok let’s move on.

Well from 12 games last night to 2 games tonight and let’s try to get back to winning some money. 2 games we have 2 tips so lets get to the NHL Betting Tips for Wednesday, October 16th.

Rangers vs Capitals: Over 5.5

These teams are playing WAY below their potential and at some point they will both have turnarounds and will make the playoffs. Both of these teams are loaded with superstars so this will be a fun game to watch.

I expect the Capitals to win this game but there is no value to that bet at all so we will go with Over 5.5 goals at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else. for 2.05 betting odds.

Flames vs Ducks: Flames To Win

This is a good value bet. Not only are the Flames playing some good, solid hockey right now but they have shown that they can hang with the big boys in the Western Conference. The Flames are considered the underdogs in this game due to the fact that they are playing on the road.

But they still haven’t lost in regulation and the fact that their team is loaded with youngsters they have the energy to go all out all season. I think at the end of the year the Ducks will be in the playoffs while the Flames may end up with a top draft pick but let’s take advantage of the Flames hot streak.

Bet the Flames to beat the ducks at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else. for 2.65 betting odds
